We are pleased to announce that our beloved Little Free Library on Braxted road by the lakefront is up and running again! You may have noticed it was out of commission for a short while after the metal bracket rusted through and the library took a tumble. But good news - We have installed a new bracket, made some repairs, and our neighborhood book exchange is ready to serve our community once more.
What Happened?
After years of faithful service through all types of weather, the original metal bracket finally succumbed to rust. After ordering a replacement bracket and making the necessary repairs, our Little Free Library is now securely back in place.

A Gentle Reminder
For those new to the neighborhood or who haven't used it before, the Little Free Library operates on a simple principle: take a book, leave a book (though you're welcome to just take or just leave books too). It's a wonderful way for us to share our favorite reads, declutter our bookshelves, and discover something new!
What You'll Find
The library currently has books for readers of all ages - from children's picture books to novels, non-fiction, and more. Feel free to stop by anytime to browse the selection.
How You Can Help
Add books you've enjoyed and want to share
Take home something that catches your eye
Spread the word to neighbors who might not know about it
Keep an eye on it when you pass by, and let us know if you notice any issues
The Little Free Library is one of those small but meaningful touches that helps make our neighborhood special. We are grateful to be part of a community that values sharing and connection through books.
Happy reading!
Thank you for being part of the Southchase 6 community!
