Park improvements continue

New sand for the playground

Beach Sand

The first delivery of new beach sand arrived today and was dumped into the playground area. A second delivery of sand is scheduled for next week. This new sand will be spread around the playground and volleyball court to increase the depth and make these play areas safer.

NEW: Comfort Station

Another new feature for the park arrived today as well: a comfort station. This 'porta-potty' will eliminate the need for park guests to eliminate on the hedges and elsewhere in the park. The comfort station will be serviced weekly.
